Carbon-neutral toilet roll manufacturing
Toilet paper manufacturing is complex, but we've taken steps to ensure it's carbon neutral. Our manufacturing uses a variety of sustainable energy sources to achieve carbon neutrality.
Firstly, our biomass power plant produces steam as a by product. Instead of releasing it into the atmosphere, we use this steam to efficiently dry our newly made toilet paper. This approach maximizes utility and minimizes waste. Unlike power plants relying on fossil fuels, our biomass power plant operates entirely on renewable organic biomass derived from forest debris, which helps reduce forest fire risks and waste.
Water is vital in toilet roll production. Our manufacturing treatment plant ensures the water we use is returned to the river in the same pristine condition in which we found it. This plant not only maintains water quality but also converts treatment residues into electricity, benefiting both us and the environment.
Last but not least, the manufacturing factory solar plant, equipped with numerous solar panels, harnesses the power of the sun to fuel the production of your beloved toilet paper in sustainable and carbon neutral way.
The factory carbon neutral manufacturing process is ISO 14067 certified. This carbon footprint certification is regularly audited to ensure adherence with ISO 14067.
ISO 14067 specifies the rules and guidelines for measuring and reporting a product's carbon footprint, which is how much carbon dioxide it emits during its lifecycle. Essentially, it helps in tackling climate change, supporting the UN's Sustainable Development Goal 13.
